Description

NaI(Tl) | Scintillation Crystal is the most widely used scintillation material for gamma and X-ray detection.

NaI(Tl) | Scintillation Crystal has the greatest light output among scintillators. Its emission range coincides with the maximum efficiency region of photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) with bialkali photocathodes. NaI has no obvious self-absorption of scintillation light and has good resolution for gamma and X-rays.
