Description
YAG(Er) | Laser Crystal amplifies light at 2940nm and is the most important work material with a 3mm laser. Unlike YAG(Nd) laser, the output of a YAG(Er) laser is strongly absorbed by water. The 3mm wavelength of light absorption coefficient is 100 times larger than 2mm and 100 times larger than 1mm, so it is widely used in medical systems. It has high slope efficiency, operates well at room temperature, and operates in a relatively eye-safe wavelength range.
