Description

KRS-5 | Infrared Crystal (thallium bromo-iodide (KRS-5)) is mixed by thallium bromide and thallium iodide crystals. With non-hygroscopic properties and a wide infrared transmission range, especially in the air, it can transmit quite a wide infrared wavelength range from 0.5 to 40μm. In addition, its transmission can reach above 70 percent, making it an ideal infrared material.

MAIN APPLICATIONS

  • Infrared optical windows
  • Prisms
  • Lenses
  • Fourier infrared spectrometer window
  • Etc.
