Description

YVO4(Nd) | Laser Crystal is one of the most efficient laser host crystals for diode pumping. Its advantages include a large stimulated emission cross-section at lasing wavelength, a high absorption coefficient, a wide absorption bandwidth at pump wavelength, a high laser-induced damage threshold, as well as good physical, optical and mechanical properties. Compared to YAG(Nd) crystal, it has an over five-times larger absorption coefficient over a wide pumping bandwidth around 808 nm, a three-times larger stimulated emission cross-section at the lasing wavelength of 1064nm, a lower lasing threshold, and a higher slope efficiency.
