LaBr3(Ce) | Scintillation Crystal is a new scintillator that boasts high light ouput and excellent energy resolution, better than all other known scintillation crystals.

LaBr3(Ce) | Scintillation Crystal is a new generation of nuclear radiation detection materials. It offers excellent performance, including high energy resolution, good time resolution, high light output, good energy nonlinearity, and fast decay time. Its light yield is 1.3–1.7 times that of NaI(Tl); its decay time is 1/20–1/10 of NaI’s.; and its energy resolution is better than all other known scintillation crystals. LaCl3(Ce) can measure the energy and time spectrum and has a wide temperature range with energy resolution consistency as well.
