Description

BaF2 | Scintillation Crystal has been commonly used as a UV-IR window material due to its broad transmission spectrum of 190nm-1200nm. It is characterized by high transmittance, slight hygroscopicity, and the refractive index has little dependence on temperature. It also has high energy and time resolutions, can simultaneously measure the energy and time spectrums, and it shows excellent radiation hardness, up to 106 rad or even more.

MAIN APPLICATIONS

  • High energy physics
  • Nuclear physics
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Etc.
