CeF3 | Scintillation Crystal is a newly discovered inorganic scintillation crystal. It has the advantages of high density, short decay time, high counting rate, good radiation hardness, and good time resolution. Sincec CeF3 was proposed as a possible scintillator used as the crystal calorimeter in the L3P detector, much work has been done on this material.
